Food for the People

Hello everyone

People Food is my blog about cooking, eating, and the like. I’m married with two young children and try to feed my family the best way I know how without making myself crazy over it. I’m a Cooking Light, Mollie-Katzen-plus-meat kind of girl with a Rachael Ray window of time (or even less) to prepare. Everyone has their own ideas about what “healthy” means, but for me, it means whole foods with high flavor, low-fat, no hormones. I try for organic, local, low-cost, and quick whenever possible as well. I don’t like corn syrup or lots of white sugar.

This is not to say I never eat Doritoes and Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. All things in moderation, I say, and I try not to be obsessive about any of my food ideals.

This blog is a place for me to share recipes, articles, links, and ideas about eating. I hope you enjoy it. My goal is to update it at least once a month. Let me know if you have ideas or recipes for me.
